Your Christian Book Review!

Write your own Christian book review… One of the defining traits of those people who love reading, is that they want to tell others about what they read. Are you like this? Have you recently experienced this burning desire to tell others about a quality Christian book that meant a lot to you?

Do you, like me, know the positive effect a book will have on someone’s life, if you can just get her to read it!

This page is for you! Here, you can move past the limitations of your circle of friends – most of whom most probably are not as keen on reading as you in any event, and tell the whole online world about what you read, why you liked it, and how it helped/changed you.

In essence, that is what book disciples do… I think. I am figuring this out as I go along.

Remember… at BookDisciple.com, we don’t criticize other followers of Jesus, other members of His Body. We realize that Jesus loves all His followers so much, that He doesn’t even see their mistakes, and we should try and act like He would.

So, if you have a very critical or scorching opinion on someone else’s work, please keep it to yourself. If you post it here, it will not be approved.

If, however, you have a good, trustworthy book to review, recommend and rave about – look no further. You have found the outlet for your enthusiasm…

As BookDisciple.com's founder, I (Dries Cronje) am constantly on the lookout for enthusiastic readers who have a talent in writing Christian book reviews. This website is a commercial one, and therefore it just makes sense for me to offer reviewers compensation for their work.

If I notice a visitor posting quality reviews of books that I feel keen to promote, I will consider contacting that visitor and offering them the opportunity to contribute to the website for financial compensation.

Compensation for a Christian book review might not be enough money to retire on ;-) but it ought to cover the cost of the book and some of your precious time. I will be following submissions closely, and if your work is of a high quality, I will post a comment (to your review) inviting you to make contact. Remember to check!

But, that being one reason why you might like to submit reviews, let’s not look past your desire to communicate what God is doing in your life as a result of your hunger for information and teaching. Let that be your main motivation to try and convince others to read…
